11th Back Tee Under Repair
The 11th back tee is under repair and is not to be used. Extensive work has been carried out on this tee and it will not recover properly if people continue to hit off it.
Please note that tee markers are not to be moved by anyone unless directed to do so by our Club Captain Tom Stewart. This applies across the whole golf course.
Local Rules Update
The mulched area next to the 1st green and behind the 13th green are GUR. Relief must be taken per Rule 16.1 (1 club length, nearest point of relief, no closer to the hole).
All other mulched/bark areas are part of the general area of the course (play the ball how it lies).
The filled in bunker at the 17th green is GUR, relief per rule 16.1 (as above). There is also an optional drop zone, take a drop 1 club from the drop zone marker.
Wednesday Competitions
Wednesday competition golfers must hit off from the 1st tee, no groups are allowed to start from the 10th tee in the midweek competition. This allows our greenskeeper enough time to mow and/or brush all the greens in the morning prior to competition golfers coming through.
Junior Program
Junior golf will be starting again on the 3rd Sunday of each month in October, November and December. Details will be sent out separately.
A big thanks to Marcus Caldwell for organising the Junior Golf Fundraiser - approximately $7k was raised for the Junior Golf Program and the Greenskeeper Shed Replacement.
