Twilight Golf Countdown to Christmas
Only three Fridays remain until Christmas, so make the most of the longer evenings and join us for Twilight Golf! Tee off for a fun, relaxed round—or if you’re not playing, feel free to drop out for a few drinks after work. The bar is open, the drinks are flowing, and it’s a great way to ease into the weekend.
Ham Hit Out + Raffle + Presentation Day – Don’t Miss It!
The Ham Hit Out will be held on Saturday, 13th December, with hams up for grabs for the overall winner as well as each of the graded winners. We’ll also be running a Ham Raffle, with tickets available now at the bar for $5 each or 3 for $10. The raffle will be drawn after the Ham Hit Out, and you do not need to be present on the day to claim your prize.
This year’s Ham Hit Out will also be played in conjunction with the Captain vs President’s Shield. Pick your side and help your team claim bragging rights—and if your team comes out on top, you’ll also score a free drink from the bar afterward! It’s a great chance to enjoy some friendly rivalry and kick off the festive season in style.
The Golf Club Presentation Day will take place immediately after the Ham Hit Out, which will be a shotgun start. Light snacks will be served during the Presentation as we celebrate and award all the trophies earned throughout the year. It’s a great way to round out the day and recognise our players’ achievements.
BBQ Area Renovations
Work has now commenced in earnest on the BBQ area renovations, with fantastic progress already being made. A huge thank you to Marty Gelling and Harry Mould for their efforts to date, as well as the other volunteers who’ve generously pitched in, including Mark Rainsford. We’d also like to extend our thanks to Ryan and the team at South East Tile & Bathroom for supplying materials at a heavily discounted rate—your support is greatly appreciated.
Volunteers Green Jacket Day Postponed
Please note that our Volunteers Green Jacket Day has been postponed to early 2026, with a new date to be confirmed soon. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to celebrating our wonderful volunteers together once the revised date is locked in.
Sunday Session 9 Hole - Sunday 14th December
We’re trialling a Sunday Session 9 Hole event on Sunday 14th December, and everyone is welcome to come along. Booking on the timesheet is encouraged (but not essential). Please arrive at the clubhouse by 8.30am, where groups will be formed before heading out for a fun and relaxed 9-hole round. Entry is $20, which includes a burger after golf. Both handicapped and non-handicapped golfers can play, with separate prize pools for each group. This is a trial run, and if it proves popular, we hope to schedule more Sunday Sessions in the new year.
