Message from Club President Lyndon Taylor

Dear Members

As you may know by now, Cooma Golf Club is running a major raffle with the prize being a brand new Hyundai motor vehicle.

This car was purchased by the club for the purpose of this raffle.

Recently we undertook to replace the existing ring main irrigation network throughout the course, we had to seek finance to fund this project.

The intent of the raffle is to generate as much profit to be able to assist servicing this loan by minimising the amount we would need to use from our own operating finances.

To break even after expenses we need to sell approximately 500-600 tickets, at this stage we are close to that number, ideally if we sell all 1000 tickets, the Golf Club reaps the benefit.

The purpose of this email is to encourage each and every member to please purchase tickets in this raffle, with close to 200 members if each member purchased at least 1 ticket this will make a significant difference.

I also encourage all members if possible to try and sell a ticket to family and friends.
