Junior Fundraiser - Saturday 20th September 2025
The Junior Fundraiser is one of the most popular events in our calendar and we are excited to announce that the date is set for Saturday 20th September 2025.
We are actively looking for sponsors so if your business is keen to get on board please contact Marcus Caldwell 0456 596 440.
Proceeds from the Junior Fundraiser will go towards our Junior program as well as our river pump replacement project.
More information will be released shortly - a big thanks to Marcus for organising this fantastic event again!
17th Bunker
We would like to give a huge shoutout to Mark Burke and the team at Burke’s Plant Hire for the refurbishment of the 17th Bunker. The left side bunker has been completely rebuilt (and enlarged!) with drainage and beach sand.
Please remember to rake the bunker after you have played your shot - there are 2 x rakes available so there is really no excuse not to rake.
Graded Scratch Matchplay Tournament
This year, we will run a graded Scratch Matchplay Tournament which will start in 2nd week of September. Sign up sheets are up on the noticeboard in Clubhouse, respond to this email or text Tom Stewart on 0488 090 649 if you would like to enter.
For those between 2 grades, your playing handicap off the blue course (red course for women) on 1st September will determine the grade you are in.
The grades are: A: less than 9 B: Between 10-19 C: 20 Plus
If anyone knows of a business that would be willing to sponsor the Matchplay Tournament, please let Angela know!
Coursework - Coring
Scarifying of greens will be commenced later this week and coring will take place next week (weather dependant). Please be patient while this important course work is being carried out.
Snowy Mountains Skins Tournament
This year’s Skins Tournament will be run as a multi-round qualifier starting from September onwards, with points being awarded each qualifying round over 10 rounds (Saturday Comps). The top 6 scores for each person will count towards their total score. The top 4 players will qualify for the Skins Matchplay which will be played on Saturday 22nd November.
Changes to Pro Shop & Ball Rundown for Comps
There are some changes to the way balls are sold and given out for ball rundowns in competitions.
If you win a ball in a golf competition you may choose any ball from the balls marked with the number 1. If you win 2 balls, you may choose a ball from the balls marked with the number 2. Please don’t forget to cross your name off the ball rundown when you redeem your balls.
Individual balls are no longer for sale, if you wish to purchase balls they can be purchased in a sleeve of 3 or a box (of 12). Prices are marked accordingly.
